Sure, Joshua stopped by to see her, but the main line indicates to the average reader that Katie is actually seeing Joshua.
You know what I mean. She’s allegedly “having an affair.”
While I know this isn’t true (at least I can’t confirm or deny that), many readers will see the line, the photo inset of Joshua, and make that conclusion.
In addition, the photo of Katie Holmes is EXCELLENT. She looks strong, alluring and sexy – exactly the type of look you want from her if she is indeed seeing Joshua on the side.
The only part that brings this cover story down is the question asked by InTouch, “Should Tom be Worried?” If the magazine was trying to lead the reader to believe that there was something more going on between Katie and her ex-boyfriend, this totally kills it.
Why?
Because of course Tom should be worried! Wouldn’t you be?
On another note, this is the perfect example of how a celebrity weekly gathers a fact and builds it into a story.
Bottom Line: This could help In Touch get back to a million on the newsstand.
