Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen have created an empire together, but according to reports, their business ethics are no longer in sync.

“Ashley really wants to be a respected businesswoman and be taken seriously,” a friend tells In Touch. “MK does too, but she hasn’t been willing to give up her lifestyle and act like an adult for their job.”

Ashley has decided that MK should not be involved with their new fashion line, The Row, claims the insider saying, “She asked her sister to step back from her current responsibilities until she has her personal life together.”

Instead, Mary Kate will be in charge of the less expensive line, Elizabeth and James.
