AP Reporter Beaten In Hanoi

Associated Press reporter Ben Stocking was beaten by police in Vietnam today, while trying to cover a Catholic prayer vigil.

He was held in police custody for 2 1/2 hours and required four stitches on the back of his head. His camera was confiscated by police.
