How Did Travis Barker & DJ AM Survive The Plane Crash?

Lieut. Josh Shumpert of the South Congaheree Police Department tells PEOPLE, “[Travis and Adam] told me that they slid down the wing on the right side of the plane.”

“They said they were on fire,” adds Shumpert, “and that they tackled each other and put each other out.”According to Shumpert the men were clothed and pacing in shock when he arrived on the scene.
