Ellen Pompeo to Allure Magazine: I Was Very Sad & Introverted As A Child
Ellen looks gorgeous on this cover of Allure and has had a ton of success on Grey’s Anatomy. But good looks and fame haven’t gone to her head. She tells the magazine, “When I did the pilot, I thought, ‘I can’t stand medical shows. This will never get on.’”
So how did Ellen decide she wanted to get into show business?
After watching the Rockettes perfrom, Ellen says, “I stood up and said, ‘That’s what I want to be. They’re alive. That’s what I want to do.’ … [But] I was very sad and introverted as a child, and I would never, ever have had the confidence or the extroverted nature to be in a school play.”
