Will John McCain Escape "The Palin Trap" Before The VP Debate?

The cover of the The Nation says it all.

“The Palin Trap.”  That’s what John McCain is caught in.

And he has very little time to escape.

When he first selected Palin to be his VP running mate, many were shocked.

But…

Many were charmed by her convention speech.

And the roller coaster continued with the interviews with Charles Gibson and Katie Couric.  Both showed how unprepared she is to be the VP of the United States.

Now, here comes the VP debate.  And she will be facing a formidable opponent in Joe Biden.

My advice to John McCain.  Drop Palin and do it now.  Make up any excuse.

Then, select a VP running mate like Mitt Romney that will actually give you a chance.

Romney has the financial background to give the ticket a chance in these troubling financial times.

Thoughts?

I actually hope that McCain doesn’t follow my advice.

Why?

Because it will be the VP debate of all time!

And he will ultimately lose the race.
