ELECTION 2008: It’s Getting Ugly!
Did you miss Sarah Palin’s stump speech this weekend where she accused Barack Obama of “palling around with terrorists.”
Well she did!
In her character attack, Palin questions Obama’s association with William Ayers, a member of the Vietnam-era Weather Underground. Her reference was exaggerated at best if not outright false, according to the AP.
Obama, who was a child when the Weathermen were planting bombs, has denounced Ayers’ radical views and actions.
McCain’s course correction reflects a growing case of nerves within his high command as the electoral map has shifted significantly in Obama’s favor in the past two weeks, according to the NY Daily News.
The McCain-Palin campaign is looking pretty desperate!
“It’s a dangerous road, but we have no choice,” a top McCain strategist told the Daily News. “If we keep talking about the economic crisis, we’re going to lose.”
