FOX IN CRISIS: Philadelphia Phillies Headed to World Series, Most Likely Will Face Tampa Bay Rays

First congratulations to the Philadelphia Phillies who are headed to their first World Series since 1993.  They defeated the L.A. Dodgers by the score of 5-1, winning the series 4 games to 1.  (I’m still upset by the Mets’ collapse.)

Tonight, the Tampa Bay Rays have their chance to join the Phillies in the World Series if they defeat the Boston Red Sox.

Now, the bad news.

Fox executives must be in tears.

This has the potential to be the LOWEST rated World Series in history.  Did you even know that Tampa Bay has a baseball team?  I don’t even think Tampa Bay residents are aware that they have a team.  And who cares about the Phillies besides the most obnoxious fans in sports?

Visit the Phildelphia Inquirer online for more details on the Phillies victory here.
