CoverAwards' EXCLUSIVE: OK's Editor in Chief Sarah Ivens Very Involved in Finding Her Replacement
This week Dan Wakeford kicked off his stint as EIC of Life & Style soon after it was announced that Life & Style’s previous (but still there until Dec.) EIC Donna Armstrong is departing later this year.
Meanwhile, OK! is taking a bit longer in finding its next EIC with Sarah Ivens departing in December.
Plus, the magazine recently lost its executive editor Rob Shuter.
CoverAwards checked in with OK! Magazine and here’s the latest on the search for a new EIC.
According to an OK! spokesperson:
“Kent [Brownridge] and Sarah [Ivens] are driving the interview process which is ongoing and of course very thorough. We will make an announcement once the decision’s been made.”
So it looks as if Sarah’s departure is amicable — if she is indeed involved in the interview process.
Stay tuned as we should be hearing an announcement shortly.
I still believe that Brownridge will bring in Bonnie Fuller. We’ll have to wait and see.
