Colin Powell Endorses Barack Obama (Video)

A big endorsement for Barack Obama.

With 16 days left to the election, this is another nail in the coffin for the McCain campaign.

The announcement was made on Meet the Press.

Colin Powell said after the Meet the Press interview to reporters on MSNBC, we need a “generational change” which Barack Obama represents.

Powell also said that he made his endorsement decision within the past couple of months.

Powell said that Senator Obama represents the approach we need to solving the economical problems in this country.

Finally, it appears that Colin Powell was dramatically affected by negative campaigning made against Barack Obama. He seemed quite upset by McCain’s attacks on Obama, and this also firmed up his decision.
