Here’s your third installment of the Madonna divorce battle from the folks at OK! Magazine.

As CoverAwards reported exclusively earlier today, this cover looks like it has the Bonnie Fuller touch.

Compared to the competition, OK! stands out by featuring the “exclusive” wedding photo and asking the question “What Went Wrong?”

The magazine also brings back the once famous “tear” down the middle.  Creative directors HATE, HATE, HATE this approach – but consumers love it.  And, that’s what’s most important.

The visual insets of Madonna with Lourdes and David and Guy with Rocco illustrate the biggest battle the couple is facing next – the one over the kids.  (I would have labeled those pictures in some way and explain why I’m showing Madonna with David/Lourdes and Guy with Rocco.  I know the answer but it’s not obvious to the average reader.)

Finally, unlike People and US, OK! Magazine made this big story its full cover.  Kinda risky putting all your eggs in one basket.

One last thing – the closing line is extremely hot.   I’m dying to know what Guy Found Out About A-Rod.

Bottom Line: Very strong cover but tough for the new kid on the block to compete with the likes of People and Us Weekly.
