Jann Wenner Reduces Staff At Rolling Stone Magazine

Rolling Stone publisher Wenner Media let go at least seven employees over the past few days, including a handful of people in the corporate marketing department, reports MediaWeek.

The cuts represent a little less than 2 percent of the company’s 400 full-timers.  The cuts are reportedly connected to a reduction in advertising pages for the magazine.

But let’s keep it real.  They had 400 people on staff!  Are they serious?  400 people?!?
