George Bush Breaks Down After Meeting With Barack Obama

I didn’t expect to see a political cover from the weeklies this week because I couldn’t imagine an editor taking the risk with sooo many Barack Obama covers on the newsstand.

Leave it to Tony Frost at Globe to come up with this gem.

The cover story appears to be built off the big first meeting between Barack Obama and President Bush.  Plus, Globe uses the photo of the two men outside the White House.

The big story is that Georg Bush breaks down after the meeting.  (I tend to believe that George Bush can’t wait to get out of office and head home to Texas but Globe appears to go with the opposite stance.)

He apparently is battling depression and boozing. Wow! That meeting with Barack really sent him over the deep end.

Bottom Line: Globe gets it done again!
