People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive is Hugh Jackman

This came as a BIG shock to me.

Hugh Jackman wasn’t at the top of my list.  But, what I do like about this cover IS THE SURPRISE FACTOR as well as the timing of it.

It’s nice to see someone besides Brad Pitt (even though he’s an inset) or George Clooney make the top of the list.

On the timing front – PERFECT.

It offers a great escape for female readers – especially with all the bad economic news dominating the media landscape.

While packages like this in the past used to mean newsstand gold for the celebrity weekly category, that hasn’t been the case recently.

I predict that this will change the recent trend and People will have a solid sale.

Bottom LIne: Better luck next year Zac Efron.  At least you made it as an inset.
