IN TOUCH: It's a Girl for Brangelina

Now it’s really a bad morning for the folks at Star Magazine.

It’s lower priced competitor In Touch Weekly also features Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the cover.

So what does that mean?

In a marketplace where the celebrity weekly magazines have failed to differentiate themselves, In Touch Weekly will beat Star this week on the newsstand.

The two magazines basically have the same story – so in these tough economic times – Brangelina fans will most likely go for In Touch.

But, Mark, they’re not the same.

Oh, wait you’re right.

Star says Brangelina is having twins and getting married while In Touch is proclaiming “It’s a Girl!”

Okay, well they’re not exactly the same.

But, close enough.

On another note, just like Star you’re probably wondering how In Touch knows that Angelina is having a girl?

Well, first of all.  This is the 4th In Touch cover featuring Angie’s pregnancy so they have to have sources on the inside, right?

Or they’re just flipping a coin and gambling on getting it right.

I’ll let you decide.

Bottom Line: If Angie isn’t pregnant, In Touch has some explaining to do.
