The media drum is beating, and it’s beating loud for Caroline Kennedy.
This comes as no surprise.
She is the daughter of the most iconic president in our country’s history.
But, is she really ready to be senator?
The New York Daily News seems to think so:
A moment came as Caroline Kennedy was at the podium, endorsing Barack Obama, when she tipped her head and smiled just like her father.
At that instant she seemed to fill with her father’s spirit, the spirit she had seen in Obama, the spirit propelling her to step from the carefully private existence her mother had worked so hard to make possible.
In that seemingly impossible privacy, she had raised three fine children with a husband who is as good a guy as ever walked.Their apartment feels like a home, with warmth and talk and laughter and life.
