First, the National Enquirer revealed that John Edwards allegedly has a love child and was caught visiting the mother of his love child in a late night hotel visit.

And, many have questioned why the main stream media has not picked up on that story.

Never one to play second fiddle, Globe magazine has discovered that Barack Obama is embroiled in a love child scandal of his own. They select a photo of him that makes him look mischievous and surprisingly casual, which matches the cover line perfectly.

I know I’m breaking my rule of not looking inside the magazine when critiquing the cover - but on this one (like In Touch) I had to. I wanted to know if Barack really had a love child. That would be completely scandalous.

So, I did and discovered that there is a team “offering a staggering $1million reward for any detailed information about an illicit child.”

Can you imagine if this story turns out to be true?

I bet Hillary Clinton is hoping that this investigation is completed before the Denver convention. (Barack is still the “presumptive” Democratic candidate for president.)

In other news, the Golden Girls’ snubbed Estelle Getty’s funeral. While I have heard about this story, the photo of the casket with the date makes this other half of the cover work.

Bottom Line: Like I’ve said in the past, Globe is the master of picking the right photos for its cover. Plus, the magazine goes for stories that “everyone” is talking about.
