US Magazine's Aniston Cover Makes It A Very Bad Week for Life & Style

As I mentioned in my Life & Style post, Us Weekly has just released its THIRD diet cover in a row.

But, what is so smart about this cover?

Janice Min shows an action shot of Jen running on the beach and makes the main line about dieting.

This visual image is a dramatic difference from last week’s diet cover making it feel fresh on the newsstand.

In fact, Life & Style is really screwed because its cover looks so much like Us Weekly’s cover from last week that readers will naturally gravitate to this new cover of Us.

I’m proud of Janice Min for going for this story instead of the John Travolta story.   Why?

Us finally realizes that when their is a major story like the Travolta tragedy, readers will still flock to People Magazine.

At the same time, this cover featuring Jennifer Aniston is AWESOME and will be over a million on the newsstand this week!

Bottom Line: A Big WINNER!
