After intense negotiations with banks and bondholders, American Media, publisher of Star, National Enquirer, Shape and Men’s Fitness, might avoid bankruptcy and David Pecker will remain on as CEO.

However, the NY Post is reporting that the company is expected to make more cutbacks.
