This story just keeps getting hotter.

Everywhere J. Lo and Marc Anthony appear, there seems to be whispers of trouble making this cover a smart move by Star’s editor in chief Candace Trunzo.

I love the main line “Fights Turn Physical” because it’s very specific and feels fresh.  I can’t recall ever seeing this line used – at least in recent years.  (I really hope it’s not true though!)

The J. Lo picture is excellent.  I only wish her angry expression was facing Marc Anthony.

Rounding out this cover, Candace features three strong, timely insets.

This is the week of Barack’s Inauguration – making the roof inset a solid one.

By adding in “Jen turning 40 ready to get re-married” with “Fergie & Josh’s honeymoon,” Star has a winner on its hands.

One other point I’d like to make is the overall photo selection.   Together, the photos make a very nice packaged.  It’s bright and upbeat.

Bottom Line: Despite turmoil at AMI, Star pulls out a strong cover.
