Usher followed the President-elect Barack Obama’s lead when he pumped up grade-schoolers and other volunteers as they repainted walls and built two libraries at Simon Elementary School in southeast D.C.
“You notice that I’m not focusing on the [Inaugural] celebration, I’m focusing on the work, because that’s what it’s about,” Usher, 30, told People.
