Olivia Newton-John's Ex-Dead Boyfriend Alive?

That’s right.  It’s possible that Olivia Newton-John’s onetime boyfriend, who disappeared in 2005 and was presumed to have drowned at sea, may be alive after having faked his own vanishing act, according to Dateline NBC.

Patrick McDermott apparently slipped out of sight to escape debts and let his son cash in a $100,000 life-insurance policy, believes investigators.

Newton-John had moved on and is now married to John Easterling, according to reports, but regularly checks in on a web site to see if he’s been found.
