Rihanna Still Loves Chris Brown Reveals Star Magazine

Unlike Life & Style, which told Rihanna to leave Chris Brown, Star Magazine takes a different tact.

The magazine somehow, someway found out that Rihanna said, “I Still Love Him [Chris].”

Now, that’s…

SURPRISING.

At least when it comes to a cover story like this one.

But, when you think about it, this is a really smart angle.  In abusive relationships, it’s not uncommon for the couple to stay together – even after this type of incident.

It’s hard to explain why they stay together – but we all know that it happens.

And, that’s most likely what the editors at Star Magazine were thinking.

And, I must add.  What an INCREDIBLE COVER LINE!  “I Still Love Him” is emotional and connects with the reader instantaneously.

The added touch of the “fatal attraction” inset is gravy on this well-thought out cover.

Plus, the dek adds new details that I haven’t heard before, e.g. she’s still calling and texting him.

Finally, credit must also go to the star photo department for selecting a dramatic main image of Rihanna.  She looks mad, sad, and ripped apart inside.

Bottom Line: What a cover!
