Oscar Ratings Up with Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman, People’s Sexiest Man Alive, won many people over last night.

ABC said Sunday’s Oscars was up 6 percent over last year in Nielsen’s top 56 TV markets.

The network wasn’t willing yet to guess on how many people watched overall.

But preliminary data showed the telecast averaged an estimated 33.6 million from 8:30 p.m.-11 p.m.
