Life & Style can breathe a sigh of relief.  Its tasteless cover one-ups the new issue of Star Magazine, which looks like it was on to a big story.

It asks the question “Was Rihanna Pregnant?”

So was she?

That could explain why Chris Brown went off the handle – but of course that’s no excuse for him.

But, the problem with this cover – and it’s a big one – is that…

Star Magazine is asking the question!

As a newsstand buyer, I KNOW the magazine DOES NOT HAVE THE ANSWER.

If you don’t have the answer, move on to another angle – no matter how good the pregnancy theory is.

On a positive note, the picture on this cover could save it on the newsstand.

It’s an incredibly emotional photo that will stand-out.  The focus is clearly on Rihanna, which is who the reader is supporting.  Plus, you barely see Chris Brown.

Bottom Line: Questions equal no answers.
