Life & Style went for the baby angle with Jennifer Aniston and OK! Magazine went with the NOT getting remarried angle.

Does OK! have a shot against its lower priced competitor Life & Style?

In one word…

NO!

While the overall cover design is one of the best I’ve seen from OK! Magazine – strong photo and very nice layout – this will be a very tough week for OK!

It’s pretty simple why this is the case.

The main line is a major downer.  Do you want to read about Jen NOT getting married?

The other reason it won’t work?  The entire story is told on the cover.

The only possible saving grace for this story angle is that it appears that Jennifer Aniston sat down with OK! – but at this point the reader is smarter than that.

Bottom Line: Measly sales at best.
