Should Courteney Cox talk to Brad Pitt?

Courteney Cox, who is best friends (or at least used to be!) with Jennifer Aniston, was spotted chatting with Jen’s ex Brad Pitt at a concert Sunday night.

Cox was in LA with husband David Arquette for the final stop on rocker Chris Cornell’s tour when Pitt showed up, according to Page Six.

“Instead of ignoring him, Courteney spoke with Brad all night. ”

It looks like Courtney broke that sacred rule…don’t talk to your best friend’s ex?!?  What do you think?
