Asthon Kutcher, Demi Moore Revolting Against Twitter: Here's Why…
The news that Twitter has teamed with production company Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment to develop a television series about “ordinary people put on the trail of celebrities in a competitive format” has resulted in serious concern if not backlash, particularly from its most famous users, reports Fancast.
“Wow I hope this isn’t true,” Ashton Kutcher tweeted. “I really don’t like being sold out. May have to take a twitter hiatus.”
Added Demi Moore: “Connecting directly with people is different than being exploited by others. We have nothing to do with a Twitter tv show and definitely not one like this article described!”
Alyssa Milano’s tweets pondered a “mass exodus” of famous folks and urged users to “use the power we ALL have to make sure it doesn’t happen.” Even Larry King tweeted, “Twitter the TV show!? What do you think about that?”
