Janet Jackson made a surprising appearance at the BET Awards and thanked fans for support while holding back tears:
“To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family,” Janet Jackson said. “And he will forever live in all of our hearts.”
Janet said her entire family wanted to speak at the show, but they they were too overcome.
“It was just to painful, so they elected me to speak,” Janet Jackson said.
