Taylor Swift Covers August Glamour

Taylor Swift is on the cover of August’s Glamour. In the issue, she talks about her first record deal at 13 (”a development deal— kind of like a guy who wants to date you but not be your boyfriend”), and how a real boyfriend would require too much “scheduling” because she travels so much for work.

Taylor also has no desire to party, and instead releases angst through her music.

“I love to write honest songs that name real people, then get up onstage and live out those emotions in front of of 15,000 people. Penciling in a night to get wasted is not something I want to do.”
