Ashley: Britney Spears Could’ve Been Me

Ashley Olsen is on the September cover of Marie Claire (for what reason, we aren’t entirely sure either), and doesn’t — as the cover suggests — really spill her secrets, per say. Rather, she just sort of says what we already know. For starters, she doesn’t think style is something that can be taught.

And what about Britney Spears?

“I look at Britney, and I’m surprised I didn’t end up like her,” she says. “[Growing up,] it was almost like I was in the Army,” she laments. “School, work, homework, fly to New York, get in at 2 in the morning, do a morning show at 5 a.m., then another one at 7, then a radio interview at 10.”
