Jennifer Lopez January 2010 Allure Cover
Feel like we’ve seen this a million (and then some) times. And a few more after that.
Jennifer Lopez covers the January 2010 cover of Allure, and well, it’s an Allure cover and they all look the same. Frightfully the same. Big pink lettering, a bronzed, pale-lipped J.Lo, headlines about makeovers and facials. Rinse and repeat.
What was surprising, however, was the mega diva’s unexpected modesty. When asked about her talent:
“It wasn’t like it was with Marc, who opened his mouth at age three and was blessed with a voice from God. That wasn’t me. I had to work at it, but I knew that once I had achieved it, people would respond to me in a certain way.”
And the paparazzi?
“It’s a business. Once they stop making money off of you they stop coming around.”
