This April 2010 Vegas cover is a nice change from Marisa Miller‘s usual sun-bleached, tawny skin, beach bunny look. She even looks semi-edgy, like a modelesque mix between Penelope Cruz in Blow and Elisabeth Shue in Leaving Las Vegas.

Alas, this whole “hot” thing is just a J-O-B for Miller. Like every other impossibly good-looking woman, she claims to be a simple tomboy underneath it all. Of course, she is.

“I was a tomboy when I started getting attention for my appearance. It was really uncomfortable because it was something I didn’t even know what to do with…I put my work hat on and I can do anything but in my off-time I’m not the girl who liks to be the center of attention.”
