Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba Vanity Fair June 2010 Cover
This is interesting.
In anticipation of the World Cup, Vanity Fair dedicates its June issue to the overly toned and apologetically muscular “football” players from around the world. Annie Leibovitz had the tough job of standing behind a camera lens while a handful of tanned lotharios dropped their drawers to reveal flag boxer shorts.

While soccer doesn’t carry the same appeal here in the states that it does everywhere else in the world, when questioning what all the fuss is about as the great Scottish player and coach Bill Shankly says:
“Some people believe football is a matter of life and death. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.”
The World Cup starts on June 11th.

Overly toned? Only in a country where it is the goal to be as overweight and as under dressed as possible would someone say these men are overly toned. They are perfection. The male form at its best.
