The Cast Of True Blood Talks Sex Scenes On The Cover Of Entertainment Weekly

In celebration of HBO’s Sunday night premiere of True Blood, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard vamp it up (with fans and blood!) on this week’s Entertainment Weekly.

Thankfully, the interviewer cut right to the chase and asked about the sex scenes:

“Having been a fan of the show, you know you’re going to be naked at some point,” says the newcomer. [Joe Manganiello] “I will say that I was welcomed into the brotherhood of the sock. When you’re naked on the show, you have to wear a sock, and it’s not on your foot.”

Of course, real-life couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer had to chime in about how getting naked with each other isn’t much of a stretch:

“It doesn’t really bother me,” [Anna Paquin] admits. “I’m really close with all of our cast, and we’ve all seen each other in various compromising and odd situations.” The actress is, of course, particularly close with fiancé Stephen Moyer (who plays Sookie’s vampire lover Bill), and Moyer says their real-life romance definitely adds to their love scenes. Jokes the actor, “I think that one great bonus is we don’t need a fluffer.”
