Khloe Kardashian made the voyage to Washington, DC yesterday to meet and greet with the president. Kardashian was invited to the White House with hubby Lamar Odom and the rest of the L.A. Lakers in celebration of their 2009 NBA Championship win.

“Such an amazing day!” Khloe Tweeted. “I just meet [sic] Obama with my husband! ”

Met, Khloe…met.

Michelle Obama scored Glamour’s Women of the Year December cover. The first lady beams in her own red dress and bow necklace.

In the magazine she talks about Barack Obama, and gives readers advice on deciding who to settle down with:

“Cute’s good. But cute only lasts for so long, and then it’s, Who are you as a person? Don’t look at the bankbook or the title,” she said. “Look at the heart. Look at the soul.”

Rolling Stone’s August 20th cover features Barack Obama and a rather skeptical headline asking: Will He Take Bold Action Or Compromise Too Easily?

Despite the bipartisan nature of the cover (on the unapologetically liberal Rolling Stone), cover artist Shepard Fairey had to defend it by saying, no, the presidential seal around Obama’s head is not supposed to signify a halo.

“It’s one thing to be running for president and it’s another to be President and I think this new illustration that I did hopefully captures the complexity and the weight of his new role,” Fairey told The New York Daily News. “Not only will we see how he performs, but also whether we as Americans will now help him and continue to push for the changes we asked for.”

Fairey also designed the now iconic Obama Hope poster.
