Michael Jackson’s Empty Coffin
The newest wrinkle in the eery Jackson saga is the rumor his coffin was empty at the memorial service.
An insider told Page Six: “There was no body there at all.”
The argument? There isn’t any way the body would’ve been released yet in light of this criminal investigation.
“There were two autopsies done but now there’s a criminal investigation,” said a source. “Why would they release the body in a week if there’s a criminal investigation? And if they charge someone with his death, that person will want his or her own autopsy done.”
Mischa Barton’s Breakdown
Mischa Barton has been placed in psychiatric hold after suffering a breakdown at her Los Angeles home.
Barton was rushed from her home yesterday at 3 p.m. with a “health problem” and is now at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
No details have emerged about the incident other than a generic statement from her rep saying Barton was hospitalized “per the “recommendation of her doctor” and is “resting in the hospital.”
Michael Jackson Murdered?
Michael Jackson’s death is now being treated as a homicide and police are conducting a criminal investigation.
TMZ.com reported that Dr. Conrad Murray is being pinpointed as the prime suspect for supplying Michael with a deadly prescription of Propofol.
Bachelorette Jillian Chooses Ed?
For those who keep up with “The Bachelorette,” alum DeAnna Pappas predicts Jillian Harris will choose Ed.
Ed, she thinks, edged out former front-runner Kiptyn when he professed his undying love to Harris during the latest Hawaiian episode.
Alas, Harris has had “eyes for Ed from day one,” says Papas.
Tony Romo Post Jessica
Less than a week after cutting Jessica Simpson loose, Tony Romo hung with pals and tried his hand at poker, roulette and blackjack at Harrah’s and Harveys in Lake Tahoe, California.
A spy for People.com reports that Romo lost most games, but washed away the losing streak with a Dennis Miller comedy show and a few rounds at (where else?) the VIP room at the Cabo Wabo restaurant later that night.
One of his pals told the magazine they want him to “have some fun before football training starts.”

Kate Gosselin Moves Out!
Temporarily! Kate Gosselin packed her bags and left her Reading, PA home Thursday.
Apparently, Kate has found a place to stay in Pennsylvania, not too far from the family home, according to reports.
In the meantime, Jon will be taking care of the kids while the couple continues the divorce process.
