CELEBRITY WEEKLY PREDICTION: People Magazine to Feature Paul Newman on its Cover One More Time

Paul Newman graced People magazine many times throughout his life, including this one from 1974.

I predict that Paul Newman’s death will make him People’s main cover topic this week.  He not only deserves to be featured but People magazine readers will expect this type of cover.

Sarah Palin Still Believes Iraq Is Responsible For 9/11 Attacks

Sarah Palin linked the war in Iraq with the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, telling an Iraq-bound brigade of soldiers that they would “defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans,” reports the Washington Post.

The Bush administration once spread this view as well, thinking that the Iraqi government under Saddam Hussein helped al-Qaeda plan the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.  The President has since rejected this theory.

Google Chrome Ready to Launch: Enters War with Microsoft Explorer and Mozilla Firefox

Google  is set to be the third contender in a new round of “browser wars”, competing with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and its rival Mozilla Firefox.

The free browser, called “Chrome,” is supposed to be available for downloading Tuesday in more than 100 countries for computers running on Microsoft’s Windows operating system. Google said it’s still working on versions compatible with Apple Inc.’s Mac computer and the Linux operating system, according to the AP.

USA Basketball Team Redeems Itself with Gold in Beijing

USA Basketball completed its extreme makeover today with a totally new Olympic experience.

In defeating Spain, 118-107, for the gold medal, the Americans persevered in their first wire-to-wire competitive game of the 2008 Olympics, reports the New York Times.

John Edwards Admits to Affair!

The National Enquirer broke the big John Edwards’ affair story.

And this week published pictures of John Edwards’ love child.

And today, John Edwards confirms the embarrassing news that he was indeed involved in an affair while his wife Elizabeth was suffering from cancer.
