A-Rod is Smitten with Madonna…Hmmm

This is truly the story that keeps on giving.

Alex Rodriguez’s relationship with Madonna was “an affair of the heart” – not “sexual infidelity” – according to Cynthia Rodriguez’s lawyer Earle Lilly, reports People.

But, it was the last “straw” for Cynthia Rodriguez who filed for divorce today.

Lilly says that A-Rod was smitten with Madonna, but makes no claim of any sexual liaison. “The correct analysis is a relationship,” he says. “Some people categorize an affair as something as sexual infidelity. We’re not claming that. It’s an affair of the heart.”

First of all - A-Rod is smitten with Madonna AND THEY DIDN’T HAVE SEX.

This statement is starting to make me wonder about A-Rod because everyone I know that is “smitten” with Madonna is ___________.

It’s official.

Cynthia has filed for divorce in Miami from Yankees’ star Alex Rodriguez, according to the AP.

Cynthia “claims the marriage is over because of Rodriguez’s extramarital affairs,” reports Us Weekly.

One of her lawyers, Earle Lilly, told Us that “after Alex was photographed with a stripper in last year, the latest Madonna scandal was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez’s father-in-law says his family “loves A-Rod and that the ballplayer has been good to his daughter, Cynthia,” according to Us Weekly.

“We love Alex, and we love our daughter, and it is what it is. If they are having marital problems, they’re not reinventing the wheel. It happens. I hope they’ll work it out,” said John Scurtis to Us.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire!

And Cynthia Rodriguez smelled smoke between Alex Rodriguez and Madonna! (sorry for the cliche).

“Cynthia is a friend and is here with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex’s trainer, his wife and their baby girl,” he adds. (Huh? I’m confused.)

“She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer.”
