Mark Pasetsky's Cover Awards

My first reaction to this is “Holy Shit.”  I had no idea! 

Every so often OK Magazine comes out of left field with a star on its cover that you’d least expect.  (Remember the Marcia Brady cover!) 

This cover not only does that, but the cover story is quite shocking.  ’

According to the new issue, Grey’s star Eric Dane discovered he had malignant skin cancer on his lips caused by skin damage.  Now that’s freakin scary!  Click here for a sneak peek at the cover story!

The magazine rounds out it’s highly emotional cover with three insets featuring the big A-listers for the category - Angie, TomKat and Britney.  A good cover for surging OK Magazine.

How Could They Cover Up Angelina’s Bump?

People follows up its Heath Ledger cover with…another Heath Ledger cover!   Last week’s issue went through the roof from what I’m hearing on the street!

This week People selects the most over-used line ever “The Untold Story” – and focuses on Heath’s relationship with Michelle Williams.     

I have one question.   WHY, WHY, WHY would People cover up Angelina’s bump with that yellow circle???  Either that’s the worst design decision ever or People has already snagged a deal to show off her bump on next week’s issue.  

Either way, this will be another big week for the category leader!

Now - you’ve done it again!  You’ve got Angie, Spring Wedding and Baby News!  It’s the most popular concoction used on a celebrity weekly cover - well at least over the past three years!

And, your Heath story - I don’t buy it!   The investigation is not over - no one knows how he died!
