Feds Search Home Of Suspected Sarah Palin Email Hacker

The FBI searched the residence of David Kernell, the twenty year old son of Democratic state lawmaker Mike Kernell, in Tennessee over the weekend looking for evidence that he was the one who hacked into Sarah Palin’s emails.

“I had nothing to do with it, I had no knowledge or anything,” Mike Kernell told the AP last week.
“I was not a party to anything of this nature at all. I wasn’t in on this — and I wouldn’t know how to do anything like that.”

Was Bill O’Reilly’s Web Site Hacked?

A hacker is claiming to have hacked into Bill O’Reilly’s web site and stolen subscribers names, e-mail addresses, city and state, and the password they use for their registration to the site.

The attack is reportedly a retaliation for comments that O’Reilly made on the air this week about web sites (Gawker) that published e-mails of Sarah Palin.

Click though to see a clip of Fox News anchor, Megyn Kelly, a lawyer, debating with O’Reilly over whether or not it is illegal to post the emails under the First Amendment.

How Did Sarah Palin’s Email Get Hacked?

He basically guessed!

The story was briefly posted Wednesday to the 4chan forum where the hack first surfaced. Bloggers have connected the handle of the poster, “Rubico,” to an e-mail address, and tentatively identified the owner as a college student in Tennessee, reports Wired.

The hacker guessed that Palin had met her husband in high school and used other publicly known details like her birthday and zip code to trick Yahoo Inc.’s service into assigning a new password.

AP Refuses To Give Hacked Palin Emails To Secret Service

Yesterday, after news broke that Sarah Palin’s email had been hacked, the Secret Service contacted The Associated Press and asked for copies of the leaked e-mails.  The AP would not release them

Sarah Palin Emails Hacked?

The group known as Anonymous is claiming to have hacked the personal email account of Sarah Palin,  gov.palin@yahoo.com.

This could be serious since Palin has come under fire for using private e-mail accounts to conduct state business.

AP TYPO: Joe Lieberman is a Real Prick


An Associated Press dispatch included a typo of the word “pick,” replacing it with “prick” when describing the Senator.  While it has been corrected, it can still be found on many sites.

Nikke Finke uncovered an internal memo and states that the AP is ”beefing up its already huge entertainment coverage by hiring an additional 21 new employees in 2008 spread across Los Angeles, New York and London.”  Click here and you’ll see the memo!
