Today, Barack Obama criticized Sarah Palin for her supporting congressional earmarks before opposing them.

“I know the governor of Alaska has been, you know, saying she is change,” Obama said on Saturday. “And that is great. She is a skillful politician. But when you [have] been taking all these earmarks when it is convenient and then suddenly you are the champion anti-earmark person.

As Gov. Sarah Palin is becoming more well-known and outspoken in the 2008 Presidential Election, democrats and Barack Obama have determined their counter-attack: sit back, watch her rise, and hope she falls.

Really? That’s it?

“A failure to take Sarah Palin seriously will cost the Obama campaign,” said Democratic pollster Craig Charney.
