Here’s the official text from Barack Obama’s website:
“Nearly forty years after I first got involved, I remain captivated by the possibilities of politics and public service. In fact, I believe that my chosen profession is a noble calling. That’s why I wanted to be a part of it,” said Joe Biden.

After days of speculation, Barack Obama has FINALLY selected his running mate.
For those of you that frequent CoverAwards, this will not come as a surprise.
Barack has selected Delaware Senator Joe Biden to be his vice presidential running mate.
Biden, who has served in the Senate since being elected at the age of 29, is the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and will add his foreign policy expertise to the Democratic ticket, reports the AP.
