Can Lindsay’s Career Be Revived by Posing on the Cover of a Magazine?

In the last month, Lindsay’s appeared on New York Magazine, Paper and Bazaar all in an effort to stage a comeback. 

The only way Lindsay can get back in the good graces of Hollywood’s elite is to show she’s serious about staying healthy by her actions.  If she screws up again, there’s nothing a magazine cover will do to save her career or her life!

The New York Times decided to analyze Lindsay’s comeback effort in the March 9th issue.  Here are some highlights from yesterday’s article:

• “A cover on Vogue or Bazaar, I think of it as the new celebrity rehab,” said Liz Rosenberg, the publicist for Madonna. “Some people go to Utah,” she said, a reference to the Cirque Lodge detox program, where Ms. Lohan was treated. “Others go to Smashbox and do a photo shoot.  A person in a position to greenlight a movie project might say, ‘Oh, I guess she’s turning her life around,’ ” Ms. Rosenberg said.

• That is Ms. Lohan’s hope, her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, acknowledged last week. “Her appearance on Bazaar is part of a strategic repositioning,” she said.

Lindsay Lohan’s Marilyn Monroe-inspired striptease for New York was the magazine’s biggest selling issue of the past four years, according to the NY Times.

“Right now I just want to find a great script, a great role,” Lohan said in the March issue of Paper.

“When I look back on this last year, it’s like what was I thinking?” she said in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

Actually, It’s the Opposite of Bazaar.

Lindsay is turning heads on covers left and right. And with no movie to promote or massive drama in her life, what’s the deal?

Well, she’s looking for one - a deal that is!

She tells the new issue of Bazaar, “You know, I don’t want to go out. The one thing that stops me?” she continues with a determined look. “What are they going to say if there’s a picture? Is it worth it? It’s not. Not right now. I need to work.”

Looks like La Lohan has got some bills to pay. And of course a girls gotta shop!
