Comeback Kid That Has Us Worried Award
Britney Spears raked in a whopping 7 MTV VMA Award nominations this morning. Trailing only Beyonce and Lady GaGa who racked up 9 each. The ceremony is scheduled to air on September 13 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
While this gives the allusion that our favorite little trainwreck-who-could is back on track to being America’s Pop Princess, photos like this make us think twice.
Seriously, what’s up with Brit Brit? We’re told these snapshots were taken after a 9-hour hair bender (to get that glorious peroxide look), but we’re starting to wonder if it was a 9-hour bender of a different sort.

Loading ...Britney Spears Breaks Free?
TMZ.com is reporting that Brit Brit’s daddy, Jamie Spears, will take the first steps to end his conservatorship when her tour ends in November.
Due to Britney’s progress, Jamie is going to have the court review the terms of the conservatorship to see if she’s ready to be a big girl again. Jamie has handled all Britney’s affairs since February of 2008.
Congratulations Britney!
Britney Spears’ New Man
It seems like just yesterday Britney Spears was happily shacked up with agent Jason Trawick. Well, Brit Brit may have gotten a little stir crazy. We read today that Spears is spending weeks alone at record producer Dallas Austin’s pad discussing, as Page Six reports, “music, life, and work.”
Which is a euphemism for…?
Of course, those close to Austin say this is hog wash: “They are good friends and have been for a long time.”
Britney Spears Converting to Judaism?
Britney Spears is considering converting to Judaism to show her commitment to her new boyfriend Jason Trawick, according to the Sun. The singer has been spotted wearing a necklace with the Star of David (above). She has even recruited a rabbi to help her study the faith.
