Here’s what Karl Lagerfeld had to say about the Nicolas Sarkozy’s stunning wife Carla Bruni in the new issue of Vanity Fair:

“She’s imaginative, clever, educated.  She knows how to behave.   She speaks many languages.  It must be an embarrassment for the wives of other heads of state to see this beautiful creature who can wear anything and speak like that.”

Not surprisingly, President George Bush was won over when he met her.

The Most Controversial Couple of the Year!

Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni take the prize. 

Soon after divorcing his wife, the French President fell in love with model Carla Bruni and the French don’t know how to handle all of this!   Which, of course, I LOVE!

Choc went out of business quickly in the U.S., but we see why it continues to thrive in France.  It doesn’t hurt to throw a nude (sorry we censored it!) photo of Carla Bruni,  the girlfriend of the French President Nicolas Sarkozi, on the cover.   Plus, take a look at the before and after of Joan Van Ark.  Wow!  This magazine definitely lives up to its name!   For those of you that forgot, (how could you) they even have Britney bald looking like a ping pong ball.  However, I was surprised that the editors didn’t pick one main shocking cover photo for this special issue.
