Carey Underwood has been connected to some pretty big hunks from Tony Romo to Chase Crawford.

So how does she get past break-ups?

She says in the current issue of In Style, “I’m a ‘let it go, move on ‘ kind of person.  And ice cream is my friend.

If anybody sees me eating a sundae and I look unhappy, something bad has happened. 

I am drowning my sorrows in fudge and caramel and whipped cream.  But then I’m like, ‘New day.’”

Carrie Underwood reveals her secret in the new Quick & Simple. 

When Underwood is on the road, she takes along a copy of The Calorie King Calorie, Fat & Carbohydrate Counter by Allan Borushek, which lists chain restaurants’ menus, along with nutritional info on their offerings.

Carrie Underwood admits in the new issue of Quick & Simple that she tries - sometimes unsuccessfully - to avoid reading online message boards.

In Quick & Simple, Underwood says she doesn’t want to fret about weight.  

The star notes that for every appearance she has a “skinny dress” and a “fat dress.”

In the new issue of Susan Toepfer’s Quick & Simple, Carrie Underwood responds to those “stupidity” rumors.

“It bugs me that because I’m a blond from Oklahoma who sings country music, people think I’m stupid,” she says.  “I won’t say I’m business savvy exactly, but I have common sense.”

Personally, I never thought of Carrie as being dumb!

What a difference for Quick & Simple - when it comes to its cover!

The last issue of the magazine featured an unappetizing main image of sloppy joes. 

(Sure, I know many women — especially in middle America love sloppy joes — but do you want to buy a magazine with it on the cover???)
