CoverAwards is off to a fast start and we’re still in beta mode. And, I have big news to share with all of you.
Mara Siegler joins the CoverAwards team as Managing News Editor. She’s the one to contact with breaking news on covers as well as web site redesigns. Her email is mara@coverawards.com. She has a ton of writing, editing and reporting experience - you may have seen her chatting up A-listers on the red carpet for a number of different gossip pubs or music fans may know her from the now defunct indie rock blog Brewed Fresh. She also has a big PR background. So publicisits - she feels your pain! (And we all know that it IS CRITICAL to have a PR background to be successful in editorial - HA!)
