How Rehab Saved Trace Adkins in New Issue of Country Weekly

Trace Adkins opens up about his busy career, time with family, five years of sobriety and his latest album in an exclusive Country Weekly interview.

It’s just been a whirlwind all year long,” says Trace, who appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice, toured the Persian Gulf and co-starred in the film An American Carol, in addition to touring and recording.

And he candidly admits that without his 2003 stint in alcohol rehab, “I probably wouldn’t have achieved anything.”

At Home with Toby Keith

“Raising kids is the greatest experience of your life,” says Toby Keith in the new issue of Country Weekly. “It’s an everyday adventure. I think it’s inside your God-given makeup to want to have kids and raise them. It’s just human nature, and one of the big joys of living life.

I tell people who’ve never had a child, ‘The second it’s born, you’re going to change. You’ll all of a sudden find a reason for the rest of your life. Somebody has to be cared for and it’s completely your responsibility.’ My family means everything to me.”

DOLLY PARTON’S SECRET REVEALED!

Dolly Parton gets away with the dumb blond act quite well.

But off course she’s one of the smartest women in the biz reports Country Weekly.

As she sings in “Barbie,”

Don’t let these false eyelashes lead you to believe that I’m as shallow as I look, cause I run true and deep…and I’ve always been misunderstood because of how I look…Don’t judge me by the cover cause I’m a real good book.
