Dark Knight star Christian Bale will be questioned today by police over an alleged assault in his London hotel suite.

The allegation was made by the actor’s mother and sister before the European premiere of The Dark Knight in London last night — but police decided not to intervene in order not to spoil the first-night celebrations.

Well, I guess they should wait. Why ruin a red-carpet event? Huh?
